Drapers Awards call for entries launched

The Drapers Awards 2010 has launched a call for entries at www.drapersawards.co.uk so take this chance to grab a slice of the glory.

Whether you’re a one-store independent just starting out or a multi-store high street veteran, the time has come to make your case for winning one of the fashion retail industry’s most coveted prizes.

This year, Drapers is celebrating its 20th year of awards, and the ceremony and event will be extra special to reflect and mark this milestone in our history.

As always, the prizes this year have been divided fairly between independents, multiples and fashion brands and, of course, there will be the very specialLifetime Achievement Award.

This year, to mark the important contribution made by buyers to the industrys’ success, we have relaunched our Buyer/Buying Team of the Year category. If you are a buyer you can enter this award yourself or if you are an employer, you can also enter your best buyer/buyers on their behalf.

We’re also asking retailers to make nominations for our fashion brand categories and for the Buyer/Buying Team category and for our star prize the Drapers Lifetime Achievement Award.

Everything you need to know about how to enter the Drapers Awards 2010, including detailed information on criteria and that crucial deadline of July 29 at www.drapersawards.co.uk, where you will also find the online entry forms.
