Dune’s ecommerce boss logs off

Rob Bostock, head of ecommerce at footwear retailer The Dune Group, has left the business.

Bostock, who spent two years with the group, which comprises the Dune chain and the former Shoe Studio brands including Pied A Terre and Bertie, will take up the position of head of ecommerce at beauty retailer Space NK at the end of June.

Although no direct replacement has been recruited, Kate Smyth, formerly ecommerce director at womenswear and footwear retailer LK Bennett, has been appointed as ecommerce consultant at The Dune Group on a contract basis.

Bostock, who was previously head of home shopping at lifestyle retailer White Stuff before joining The Dune Group, spearheaded a relaunch of Dune’s website last year which included the introduction of simpler navigation, improved photography and a video catwalk.

The site was rolled out internationally and is available in pounds, euros and US dollars and also has a click-and-collect facility.
