Graduate’s M&S dress gets top marks

Up-and-coming designer Jett Sweeny, who won the Scottish Fashion Graduate of the Year award at the Scottish Fashion Awards in 2010, has had the design for her award-winning dress (pictured) put into production by Marks & Spencer.

Graduates entering the Awards had to create a cocktail dress for M&S’s Limited Collection, and Sweeny’s design is now available to buy for £95 in M&S stores in Princes Street in Edinburgh, Argyle Street in Glasgow and Marble Arch in London, as well as online. As part of her prize, Sweeny also spent one month on a work placement with the M&S design team.
