Halliday moves from East to Radley

Accessories brand Radley has further bolstered its senior management team with the appointment of Naomi Halliday from East as head of merchandising.

Halliday, head of buying and merchandising at womenswear chain East, will replace Kellie Smith, who left Radley earlier this month to join FitFlop owner Brandhandling as head of merchandising.

Halliday’s is the latest in a raft appointments by Radley as it repositions to become more upmarket.

In January, former chief executive Roger Best returned as chairman and interim chief executive following the departures of chairman Paul Mason and chief executive Sven Gaede.

The brand recently made changes to its distribution network to focus on its own stores and retail partnerships such as those with House of Fraser, John Lewis and premium independents.
