Cos autumn 15
Premium- Westfield, Stratford, ground floor
The window is full of coats, which is timely for the autumn weather and prices are displayed clearly, which is helpful. There is a good range of accessories displayed on large tables to help customers pull outfits together. Some prices are competitive: wool coats at £225 compared with similar styles at Karen Millen at £275.
The product in the window is all camel and grey in colour which is a bit insipid and does not catch the eye of passing shoppers. The store is difficult to navigate as the shop floor is sectioned off by rails of clothes, so there is no flow between the different areas. The Sale section is located in the middle of the store and is a complete mess: the rails are tightly packed ,so it is very difficult to move around. Further back there is additional full-priced womenswear, which is a bit confusing. No member of staff spoke to Drapers during the visit.
