Clothing multiple - Westfield Stratford, First floor

Pros

Dorothy Perkins draws attention to its footwear as soon as you enter the store with a large table loaded with new-season styles and corresponding accessories, including a pair of sturdy red platform court shoes with a platform heel for £35. Courts start at £19 and boots at £29, making them significantly cheaper than those in Arcadia stablemate Topshop. Burton, similarly, has some current styles, such as a high-shine, leather-upper, double-monk-strap shoe for £48 and a brown brogue with a leather upper at £37, which feels good value.

Cons

The footwear collections do not feel strong enough to transform Topman and Topshop’s less fashionable siblings into standalone destinations. However, there are plenty of styles that could catch the attention of shoppers while they browse. The selection in Burton is particularly small. There is a large Sale table in Dorothy Perkins that is quite messy and distracts from the full-price collections.
