Forever 21 does well to show off its menswear offer by using campaign imagery that features both men and women across its window displays and eye-catching signage. This continues in store with lots of helpful signs. The product offer is quite hit and miss though: there are directional denim dungarees, only spotted elsewhere at Topman, and streetwear-inspired styles, such as a long hoodie similar to those in H&M but with a nice mesh hood detail (good value at £19). However, there are also a lot of forgettable items.
Like several of the other stores, lots of product looked creased and unappealing, which only highlights the low quality. It was odd that summer product was still out but not on Sale. The changing rooms at first looked inviting, but the first couple of booths were used as messy store rooms for old boxes. Campaign images appear throughout the menswear area, but some of the product could not be located and no staff were around to help.
