Karen Millen autumn 15
Premium- Westfield, Stratford, ground floor
The collection is strong and very trend led. Many products reference the 1970s. A standout piece on a mannequin in store is a bold-printed cotton dress at £199, which is on par with dresses at Jaeger and is a good price for the quality. There are lots of dresses and party wear on display in the run-up to the key Christmas season. There is also a wide selection of sizes on the shop floor. Prices are reasonable for the quality and style of the products. For example, a tailored orange shift dress at £160 compares well with similar styles at Reiss priced at £190. The staff are very helpful and the friendliest of the visit, offering to take clothes to the changing room for shoppers, suggesting alternative pieces and matching accessories.
There were no prices in the window, which isn’t very helpful. The changing rooms are very small. The sale section on the right-hand side of the shop is very cramped and quite untidy.
