High Street Hit or Miss: Primark 7/10

Primark autumn 15

Primark autumn 15

Value- Westfield Stratford, lower ground floor

Pros

Like Next, Primark runs with the winter theme in the window and it works well. Prices are displayed clearly in the window display to attract passing shoppers. Coats and wintery accessories are at the front which is apt given the time of the year. If shoppers are looking for this season’s latest trends at the lowest prices on the high street Primark is still the place to go: basic T-shirts start at £2, and a full-length wool mix grey Crombie coat retails at £30. The shop is well merchandised with accessories dotted around to help shoppers pull looks together. There is a good mix of sizes on display, although some styles only had sizes 16 to 20 left on the rails.

Cons

The shop is quite messy and there are many products unfolded or on the floor in some cases. There are lots of repeated items in different areas, which is annoying. The queues in the shop are huge but move quite quickly, but this is still offputting for customers.
