High Street Hit or Miss: Reiss 7/10

Reiss autumn 15

Reiss autumn 15

Premium- Westfield, Stratford, ground floor

Pros

The large window display is inviting and mixes menswear and womenswear throughout, which is refreshing. Reiss’s main colours for this season – cream and grey – are evident. The large campaign images behind the mannequins are aspirational for shoppers. Inside the shop is bright and airy. Mannequins wearing the key looks for the season greet shoppers as they enter. The product is on trend and well merchandised with matching accessories placed beside relevant products throughout the shop. The store assistants are friendly and greet shoppers, and there is ample seating for shoppers to try on shoes and wait for the changing rooms.

Cons

There are no prices displayed in the window. Although there are a lot of changing rooms for shoppers they are quite cramped. Only sizes 4 to 12 are displayed in the shop, which could be alienating for the majority of British shoppers.
