Swedish fast fashion chain H&M saw like-for-like sales fall back 6% in April compared with the same month last year.
Total sales in April rose 4% due to expansion at the chain. The figures exclude currency rate changes.
H&M had 2,037 stores on April 3 this year, compared with 1,804 on April 30 last year.
Last month, H&M reported a strong start to the year with sales up 7% to SEK 24.8bn (£2.2bn) in the three months to February 28, and profits up 42% to SEK 5bn (£451m).
