Like-for-like sales at H&M rose by 1% during April, recovering from a steep decline the month before.
Total group sales at the Swedish fast fashion retailer rose 11% in April compared with April last year.
These figures were a great improvement from those seen in March when like-for-like sales fell 12%, with the retailer blaming the unseasonably cold weather across Europe. Total group sales fell by 4% in March compared to the same month last year.
However H&M still said that sales during the first weeks of April were negatively affected by the unseasonably cold weather in Europe.
