British heritage retailer Jaeger has revamped its virtual flagship store as part of its strategy to develop the brand globally.
The relaunched website offers the retailer’s entire flagship store collection, including the online debut of its younger, lower priced Boutique by Jaeger sub-brand. It offers currency and delivery options to 29 countries across Europe, USA and Australia.
Belinda Earl, Jaeger’s group chief executive, said: “The internet is an increasingly important business tool for Jaeger, as customer and media interest in our brand continues to be very high and our visitor numbers and sales continue to increase beyond expectation.”
Jaeger announced plans to relaunch its website in May when it reported full-year results for the period to March 1. The previous version of the site, which offered a more limited range of product and functions, accounted for 5% of its total sales.
