Jones Bootmaker kicks off store refit programme

Jones Bootmaker has embarked on a revamp of some of its key stores as it looks to modernise.

The high street chain is overhauling 10% of its store estate

The footwear retailer is refitting 15 of its 108 stores, including Leicester, London Victoria, Fenchurch Street, Leamington Spa, Nottingham and Edinburgh.

The brand has introduced new retail graphics, with signature lime green colour pops within the new merchandising system, and clearer segmentation of its product ranges and brands.

There are anchor points for men’s, women’s and customer service areas, with the option of flexing into kids and accessory stories.

Jones Bootmaker worked with brand communications and retail design agency Mynt.

On the store revamps, Jones Bootmaker retail operations director Dan Shaw said: “We are very pleased with the new store refits, they bring the brand to life in a new and exciting way. We hope the new store environment will allow our customers to have an enhanced retail shoe shopping experience.”

Details of the refits comes just a week after Drapers revealed that the high street chain was offloading nine stores.
