Jones the Bootmaker, Fat Face join Whiteley line-up

Lifestyle retailer Fat Face and Jones the Bootmaker are among a raft of retailers to have taken new space at Hampshire shopping centre Whiteley.

The 320,000 sq ft development, which opens in less than a month, is now 91% let with a further 13 units in solicitors’ hands.

Located between Portsmouth and Southampton, Whiteley will be anchored by a 6,000 sq ft Marks & Spencer. Other tenants include Next, River Island, Clarks, sports specialist Trespass, Schuh, Moss, JD Sports, Bank and Sports Direct.

Claire Barber, head of shopping centre asset management for British Land, said: “We have secured a unique line up with a clear focus on fashion, food and beverage and local, independent retailers, creating a real point of difference for our customers.”
