Marks & Spencer makes Christmas shopping easier

Marks & Spencer has announced longer trading hours during the festive period in a bid to make Christmas shopping even more convenient.

In the final few days before Christmas Marks and Spencer will allow customers to shop outside of its usual trading hours.

On December 20 186 stores will be open until 10pm or later, with 13 stores opening until midnight. On December 21 194 stores will be open until 10pm or later, with 14 stores open until midnight and 168 stores will be open until 10pm on December 22, with 12 open until midnight.

Christmas Eve will see 103 M&S stores open from midnight. On Boxing Day 178 stores plus 29 outlet shops will open from either 7am or 8am.

Sacha Berendji, director of retail at M&S, said: “We understand that our customers have a million and one things to do during the festive season so we’ve made sure that we’ve made things as easy as possible. With longer opening hours and the best selection of festive fare, I think we’ve made M&S the go-to destination for hassle-free Christmas shopping.”
