New directors join in Fat Face management revamp

Fat Face chief executive Anthony Thompson has restructured his management team.

Thompson - the former managing director of George at Asda who was parachuted into Fat Face by chairman Alan Giles in April - has appointed three directors.

Becky Bateman, head of retail for Topshop and Topman, will join in July as retail director. Toby Bowhill has been promoted to the new role of brand director, having joined Fat Face recently from Abercrombie & Fitch, where he was concept director of its Hollister and Ruehl businesses. Dan Miles, who joined recently from sportswear brand Puma, is now ecommerce and communications director.

Shaun Wills continues in his role as finance director and has assumed responsibility for IT and property. Alison Holmes will continue in her role as trading and supply chain director. Thompson is also recruiting for a buying and design director to complete the management team.

People and infrastructure director Mark Powell, home shopping director Kristine Kirby and product architect Lisa Illis have left the business.
