New Look rocked once more as marketing director leaves for Monsoon Accessorize

New Look has suffered another senior departure after group marketing director Joe Irons jumped ship to Monsoon Accessorize.

It is understood that Irons, who left New Look this week, will fill the ecommerce and multichannel director role previously occupied by Kristine Kirby, who quit Monsoon Accessorize in June.

Irons is the latest in a line of high-profile departures from New Look since founder Tom Singh was drafted back into the business in March. Chief marketing officer Nick Cross left in May, and franchise director Alex Cara exited the fast-fashion chain in June.

Singh has instigated a senior management shake-up after returning, including reversing the appointment of former Primark buying and merchandising director Julian Kilmartin, who is now advising outdoor chain Blacks.

New Look confirmed Irons’ departure. Monsoon Accessorize declined to comment.
