Nordstrom takes on Australian brand Minkpink

US department store Nordstrom has added Australian young fashion brand Minkpink to its brand mix.

The US retailer now stocks the label online as well as in all of its 240 stores.

Nordstrom has invested in an advertising campaign to raise awareness of the new collection from Minkpink within the country.

Shot by Byron Spencer, the campaign emphasises the flirtatious and fun ‘Minkpink girl’, with pretty florals, ombre knitwear and playful minidresses.

The 100-year-old department store last year began to sell collections from British retailers Topshop and Topman

The company plans to expand and open three new stores in 2014.
