Oasis to open third-party young fashion concessions

Oasis is introducing young fashion brands including Fever, Uttam Boutique and Max C into 10 of its stores for the first time through a concession model.

The brands, which will run across the womenswear chain’s stores under the Friends of Oasis banner, are being entered into stores through concession specialist Hallett Retail.

The first concession is due to open today in the Liverpool One Oasis store, with the rest to follow over the next two weeks, culminating with a site in the Oasis flagship store on Argyll Street in London, which is due to open on October 15.

The brand range within the Friends of Oasis concession is expected to be extended as the concept develops.

Concessions will also open in Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Dublin, Glasgow, Kingston, Lakeside and Reading.

Wendy Hallett, managing director of Hallett Retail, said she hoped the concession model would be implemented in further Oasis stores.

Oasis managing director Liz Evans said: “We are delighted to be working with the Hallett Retail team and look forward to the launch of Friends of Oasis in selected stores.”
