Boardsports brand O’Neill has appointed Willem Haitink as chief executive and unveiled a limited-edition T-shirt range for the brand’s 60th anniversary next year.
O’Neill will launch nine anniversary T-shirt styles for spring 12, featuring heritage prints of the brand’s first logo and photos of its original surf shop. Wholesale prices will range from £9.60 to £12.50.
Haitink will join the brand in time for its anniversary, taking up his new role on September 1. He was formerly general manager of footwear brand Converse in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He replaces Jan Valdmaa, who was with the brand for two years and left to pursue other opportunities, according to O’Neill.
