Tesco is looking to ramp up its F&F design team to help meet chief executive Philip Clarke’s ambitions to improve the grocer’s trend credentials.
According to Tesco buying director Bernadette Lusher, the supermarket plans to up its design team to 30, along with freelance support. Its F&F spring 12 womenswear collection will have improved fit and fabric quality. Trends will include tribal, the 1920s and modern graphics. Tesco has also worked on improving consistency in fit.
