Topshop upsizes Woking store

Arcadia-owned Topshop is expanding its Woking store by a third to 5,966 sq ft.

The upsized store, in the Woking Shopping covered centre, in Surrey, will stock the full range of Topshop and Topman products. It will open later in the summer.

“Topshop is a most desirable brand and is one of number of fashion busineses trading very strongly in Woking,” said Tim Buckley, asset manager at Woking Shopping partner Moyallen.

He added: “The upsize is also part of our strategy to enhance Woking’s offer by creating a retail line-up that appeals to wider catchment, which is large and dominated by consumers with high levels of disposable income.”

Woking Shopping, a joint venture between property developer Moyallen and Woking Council, is comprised of the Peacocks Centre and Wolsey Place.
