Office

Working the trends alongside an exclusive range of sneakers

Product 8½

Office works the major fashion trends into its own handwriting. Engineered boots and biker boots sit alongside heeled and flat over-the-knee styles while pumps feature feathers and beads. The retailer’s ubiquitous super-high platforms are here again for the party season including a multi-strap platform with varnish wood heel. Studded platform boots, fringed boots and a cowgirl story hit the mark as do pixie boots. It also has the best trainer offer with plenty of exclusive colourways and styles.

Experience 7

The windows highlight the up to 50%-off Sale and several Sale racks make the back of the store feel pretty cramped. However, clever merchandising at the front displays standout styles to full effect and it’s easy to navigate from party shoes through to dressy boots, casual boots and casual day shoes. Men’s formals and leather product does get slightly lost at the back but the trainer wall that runs down the front right of the store is lively, exciting and enticing.

Value 8

Office continues to produce the best young fashion footwear range of the specialists at this price point, with biker boots at £85 and grey suede metallic sandwich platforms at £90. But an engineered boot at £95 and a grey suede over-the-knee heeled boot at £150 does edge it a bit too far over Topshop.
