Matteo Rancilio and his brother, Cesare, opened Dictionary in 2011 in the Ticinese district of Milan to fulfil the need for affordable international clothing brands in the area. Matteo designed the interior of the shop himself – the white wooden walls are parts of old skate parks. Paying close attention to customer’s needs of quality and design, the Rancilio brothers travel throughout Europe to find stock at trade shows.
