Curvy Kate’s range is proving very popular with customers – the Kate Princess balcony bra (£40) has an elegant appeal and remains a bestseller. The Rosanne sports bra by Panache (£15) has also been doing very well in our store. The boutique has been particularly busy recently, thanks to the school holidays and customers’ desire for lighter and more comfortable bras for the upcoming summer weather.
Nicola Adams Owner of Tallulah in Islington, London
Our bestselling bras at the moment are the Simone Pérèle Wish half-cup (£74) and Aubade Sweet Poetry half-cup (£58.80). These brands have always been popular with our customers, and half-cup is the kind of bra that always sells well across the different seasons. We’re feeling optimistic about the summer, as sales have already picked up vastly over the last few weeks.
Carol Tomes Manager of Sweet Dreams in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire
We’ve really noticed the Prima Donna Deauville bra (£75) doing well. Its superior comfort and support make it a real hit with customers. Bright colours associated with summer are also going down well, especially the Fantasie Sasha bras (£38), which are popular in the “zest” colourway. Our sales recently have been fantastic. Upcoming summer holidays and better weather mean we’re taking what we would normally do on a Saturday on weekdays.

We’re still seeing excellent sales of the Wacoal Embrace Lace bra (£46). Its simplicity and chicness goes down well with the women who shop with us. Sales over the half-term were fantastic – our closeness to the sea plays a big part in drawing people in. However, the past few weeks – now children are back at school and parents are back at work – have been much trickier.

Our store has seen an influx of popularity for the brand Stone Island. Caps (£90) specifically have appealed to our customers, and have even sold out recently. It seems that our male customers are opting for the more laid-back, baseball style this summer and don’t mind paying more for it. The store has been fairly busy in recent weeks and we’re feeling optimistic about the summer holidays approaching.
Carl Peddie Owner of Diffusion in Wolverhampton
Sales in general have been pretty steady recently, which is always good. In men’s accessories, we have seen a surge in sales of Hugo Boss and Vivienne Westwood, which are going down well with customers. Caps (£29) and wallets (from £50) have been selling the best, possibly because of upcoming summer plans. The warmer weather definitely seems to have affected sales – summery items are selling more successfully recently.
Mark Goodman Owner of Giancarlo Ricci in Liverpool
The Boss accessories range is fantastic this season, and has been a huge asset to our store. In men’s accessories, it has been belts from Boss (£50) and Versus Versace (£140) that have been received particularly well. Customers are favouring the luxury brands. It’s been increasingly difficult to see patterns in our sales in the last few weeks, as suddenly the shop has been much quieter.
Jordan Gifford Assistant at Terraces in Stoke-on-Trent.
Wallets have been the standout bestsellers in our accessories collection, particularly those from popular brands Lacoste (£65) and Barbour (£80). Customers are opting for durability and simplicity. Nicer weather has certainly had some influence, too, as we’ve seen many male customers buying caps recently as they prepare for even warmer summer weather to come. We’re feeling positive about sales over the next few weeks.
