Romeo Beckham joins Burberry spring 13 campaign

Luxury brand Burberry has unveiled 10 year old Romeo Beckham as one of the faces of its spring 13 advertising campaign.

Beckham joins Burberry regulars Cara Delevingne, Charlotte Wiggins, Edie Campbell, Alex Dunstan, Charlie France and another newcomer, model Max Rendell, for the campaign, overseen by Burberry’s chief creative officer Christopher Bailey and shot by renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino.

The campaign features images and videos which will be revealed both online and offline throughout the season including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest as well as outdoor and print advertising and online via Burberry.com.

“This season’s campaign lights up with the infectious energy of an amazing young cast of old and new Burberry family. Cara, Edie, Charlotte, Charlie and Alex are joined by Max and Romeo, who was a joy to work with and really stole the show,” said Bailey.

“We had such fun shooting the campaign and I think that comes through in the images which really reflect the upbeat spirit of the collection.”

  • Very, very clever, especially considering Beckham's fame in countries like Japan and China.
