Scoop expands into second venue

Premium womenswear tradeshow Scoop is to expand into an additional venue for its sixth edition in July.

Scoop, which launched in February 2011 for the autumn 12 season and will hold its fifth edition this weekend, has always been based at London’s Saatchi Gallery.

However, the shows organisers have today (February 7) revealed that in July 2013 Scoop will launch a second venue in the Phillips Gallery in Howick Place, located six minutes from the Saatchi Gallery.

The opening of a second venue will add around 175 brands to Scoop’s line-up meaning that the July 2013 edition of the tradeshow will feature more than 400 labels.

Scoop founder Karen Radley said: “I’m delighted that the Phillips Gallery has agreed to be part of our expansion plans for Scoop International.”

With demand for space at Scoop already outstripping that available at the Saatchi Gallery we’ve been searching for an additional venue for over a year, but I was determined that any additional location should be every bit as beautiful and iconic.”

The July 2013 edition of Scoop will take place at the Saatchi Gallery and Phillips Gallery from 21-23 July 2013. This month’s edition of the show takes place at the Saatchi Gallery from 10-12 February.
