Buying and design director leaves value retailer Select

Chanda Pandya, buying and design director at value retail chain Select, has left the business.

Pandya, who joined Select at the beginning of 2012 after a short stint as buying director at young fashion chain Bank, is thought to have left the business within the last couple of months.

It is understood that she is now working on setting up her own venture, although no further details are available at this stage.

Prior to joining Bank, Pandya was head of buying at young fashion chain Jane Norman for over six years. She has also held buying roles at Miss Selfridge.
