Selfridges appoints new marketing head

Luxury department store Selfridges has appointed Richard Taylor as marketing director.

Taylor, who is set to join on April 23, will oversee Selfridges marketing, pr, communications, events and the retailer’s visual teams. He will report to managing director Anne Pitcher.

Taylor was previously at bank RBS where he was customer experience director for retail and also held a number of other senior marketing roles.
