Selfridges makes redundancies

Selfridges has made 12 head office staff redundant after a consultation period with 31 employees.

A Selfridges spokeswoman declined to give details of the redundant positions but it is understood that they included assistant buyer roles, but did not include director level positions.

The other 18 Selfridges staff involved in the consultation have been found other roles within the business.

The Selfridges spokeswoman said: ”Feedback from the staff involved in the process has said that they were satisfied that they had been communicated with appropriately.”
