Stylistpick moves away from subscription-only model

Online accessories specialist Stylistpick is to offer customers an alternative payment option to its monthly subscription service.

From today customers purchasing footwear and accessories from the site will have the option to select a “pay as you go” option at the checkout to purchase the item or items as a one-off rather than paying the £39.95 monthly membership fee.

This move represents a departure from the monthly subscription-only model on which Stylistpick which was based when it launched.

Stylistpick relaunched with a new website last autumn and launched a footwear collaboration and TV advertising campaign with Cheryl Cole in December.

Earlier this year, Stylistpick’s main competitor, the UK arm of of US-based footwear membership site Shoedazzle, announced it was to close after just four months of operation here in the UK.

To celebrate the launch of its “pay as you go” option, Stylistpick is offering customers 25% off their first item bought using the service.
