Tesco supports On|Off designers

Tesco will support emerging labels by selling limited edition pieces from designers showing at On|Off on its new clothing website.

The supermarket giant will offer manufacturing, production and fabric sourcing to four up and coming designers showing at On|Off, the independent fashion showcase during London Fashion Week.

A limited edition piece from each designer will be sold exclusively on the Clothing at Tesco website, due to launch later this season.

The four designers are: Joanna Vanderpuije, Michaela Carro, Prose Studio and Yang Du.

An exclusive six-piece collection, designed by Clothing at Tesco, will also be showcased at the show, On|Off Presents.

Tesco chief executive Terry Green said: “This collaboration with On|Off is the perfect opportunity to show our support for up and coming designers.”

He added: “It’s a great way of bringing cutting edge fashion to a mainstream audience.”

The On|Off Presents catwalk will take place at On|Off’s new venue, 180 The Strand on September 18 at 12.30pm.
