The North West 2011 Fashion Recruitment Series

What: The North West’s 2011 Fashion Recruitment Fair
When: Friday 27th of May 2011

This May The Manchester Fashion Network are offering students a leg up onto the fashion industry ladder, by running a series of events designed to educate them on how to break into the industry and a fast track to their dream job.

The program will be split into two sections:

The first is called “The Making It Series” in which industry professionals from across PR, Marketing, Design, Buying, Merchandising and E-Commerce will be invited to speak to students and graduates in order to share their knowledge and experience of the industry.

Tuesday 3rd of May : Making It In Design

Monday 9th of May: Making It In Pr and Marketing

Tuesday 17th of May: Making It In Buying and Merchandising

Tuesday 24th of May: Making It In E-Commerce

The second part of the series will be a recruitment event held on Friday 27th of May. This  event is an excellent opportunity for companies to meet students and graduates face-to-face and find an ideal candidate for their business.

As Dale Hicks, Managing Director of The Manchester Fashion Network commented,These students are the next generation of the fashion industry and I think it is important that we support them to become successful. The Making It Month gives them the opportunity to gain knowledge and hopefully the preparation they need to step in to the world of fashion”

MFN are looking for companies who are interested in being involved with the recruitment event. More information on the events can be found here:  or by contacting: Emma Doyle on  OR 0161 819 2145.
