Tom Duncan, UK sales manager, G-Star

Young fashion brand G-Star came of age in 2008, cementing its position as a must-have brand for retailers and consumers.

The brand’s success is in no small part due to its sales manager Tom Duncan, who alongside colleague Casper White has become a widely respected ambassador for the denim-led Dutch brand.

Responsible for driving the brand’s wholesale arm and developing its franchise operation, Duncan has built a 280-strong network of stockists in the UK and Republic of Ireland, including top indie denim specialists such as Edinburgh’s Xile and Accent in Leeds.

In recognition of its maturing core customer, G-Star is venturing into the realms of contemporary tailoring for spring 09, offering more product-led fodder for its stockists and franchisees to sink their buying teeth into.
