This buzzing store has a few product quality issues but the positives outweigh them.
A hyper-youthful cocktail of trends with real design-rich tweaks. Checked and denim shirts, leather hoodies, short duffle coats and shawl-collared 1sb evening jackets sit alongside graphic-placement T-shirts, track pants and a range of short duffles and elasticated-hem trench-style jackets. Tailoring features desirable looks with bold gingham shirts dressed with slim-fit 1sb suits. Jeans contrast slim styles with baggy worker and combat styles; washes are mostly mid to dark blue.
The £100 full-suit-look offer is truly tempting. Sadly, there are no ties anywhere in store. When questioned, a shop assistant looks confused and searches for said product. Unable to find them, he wanders off. Next, a denim-style shirt loses two of its poppers when Drapers tries it on. But the prices and design integrity are a huge plus.
Outstanding value. You expect these prices on shapeless items from value stores but here we have tailored fits and considered designs. Grey jeans are just £20, a PU leather-look hoodie is £40, and graphic T-shirts are two for £15. Track pants are £8 to £12 and £100 buys a full formal look – suit, shirt, tie and shoes.
