The Look
Former Gucci designer Alessandra Facchinetti showed a charming, feminine collection of long side-split slim skirts, belted satin jackets and chic evening shorts just two days before it was announced that she would be replaced as the label’s creative director.

Key Pieces
Long diaphanous chiffon dresses in teal and scarlet paid homage to the Valentino red dress tradition while shorter, drapier styles in lemon or flesh featured heavy beading and micro-ruched floral appliqué.

Flesh-tone, sherbet lemon and sky blue were enriched by rich teal, chocolate, midnight blue and tomato red.

Delicate and ultra-luxe, chiffon was the biggest story at Valentino, along with shiny satin.
