German mainstream womenswear brand Verse will relaunch for spring 10 at Düsseldorf trade show CPD this month, five months after its merchandise director Robert Kuipers bought the brand name out of liquidation.
The 200-piece collection will return to the brand’s roots, focusing on softer looks on shirts and jackets. The average wholesale price will come down by approximately 10 euros (£8.65) per garment.
Verse had about 180 accounts in the UK and Republic of Ireland for spring 09. All received their spring deliveries but no autumn range was produced because of the liquidation.
APT Collections will continue as the brand’s UK and RoI agent.
CPD takes place at Messe Düsseldorf in Germany on July 26-28.
