Contemporary womenswear retailer Whistles is to launch a mobile optimised version of its website next week.
Due to launch on Monday (August 20) the site is designed to work across all mobile devices and will allow customers to shop on the go with complete access to Whistles’ full product catalogue.
The site also means that international customers can now shop at Whistles in US Dollars and Euros as well as Pound Sterling, shipping to 44 countries worldwide.
The first 150 orders made through the mobile site will receive a Whistles mobile phone holder.
Speaking at Drapers’ Next Generation Academy in March, Whistles chief executive Jane Shepherdson said that the retailer was employing a new web team to work on the launch a redesigned website and mobile optimised site.
“We did our website two years ago and we are about to do a redesign in August because things become dated,” she said.
