Without Prejudice recruits Douglas Hood

Douglas Hood, former head of sales at Savile Row tailor William Hunt, has joined menswear brand Without Prejudice at the same time as its UK brand manager Leon Soulsby is to leave.

In his new role as general manager, Hood will oversee all operations and report directly to owner Jason Gerrard.

He said: “I’ll be looking to take the brand to the next step and looking to expand it.” Hood, who joined Without Prejudice on Monday, left William Hunt at the start of the year. He has previously held positions at Savile Row brand Hardy Amies and luxury menswear designer Ozwald Boateng.

Soulsby will leave Without Prejudice next week after more than four years at the business. Soulsby, who was formerly at House of Fraser, will join Ben Sherman as international tailoring development sales manager. He will take up the newly created role on July 6.

Soulsby told Drapers that tailoring would be integral to Ben Sherman’s future collections.
