Yves Saint Laurent

The Collection

A short sharp shock of a show from Stefano Pilati who was in the mood to tease. Against the steamy backdrop of a raunchy film and there was a sexy undertone to the range too with open shirts worn over leather trousers, while the look was softened with a black wool, low slung work coat. As the sombre shades of black and grey were rolled out in two-tone outfits and a relaxed silhouette included billowing trousers worn with tightly layered knits.

Key item

Cropped pea coats are the outerwear shape du jour and Pilati was not going to miss out, but multi-zip biker styles and voluminous round-shouldered db coats were in the offing too alongside some of the week’s sportier styles including diamond patterned track tops and half placket shirts.
